Doctor of Business Administration
A practitioner's doctorate you can do while you keep working
UBI Business School's DBA is a part-time, three-year doctorate for experienced professionals — taught in Brussels or delivered fully online through UBI's HyFlex model. Graduates receive an accredited British degree from Middlesex University London.

How the three years are structured
Year 1 — building foundations
The first nine months cover four taught modules — Fundamentals of Strategy and Management, Applied Research in Management Practice, Quantitative Applied Research and Qualitative Applied Research — closing with an advanced practitioner review and reflection.
Year 2 — designing the project
Working with academic and industry mentors, you shape your doctoral project and produce a 10,000-word proposal. Optional specialised modules add depth in your chosen field.
Year 3 — the doctoral contribution
A 65,000–80,000 word dissertation, or a professional artefact with a critical commentary of 35,000–40,000 words, or another format approved by the academic board — concluding with a Viva Voce examination.
